Motorcycle market booms in Argentina and Mexico as financing expands and registrations double

In Argentina, banks such as Banco Nación and Banco Provincia have introduced new motorcycle loan schemes that allow buyers to finance a bike with monthly installments as low as 81,000 pesos. The offers feature terms up to 72 months with interest rates around 40% TNA and include options for automatic debit payments and installment plans for those who cannot afford the full fee up front.

In Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, the number of motorcycles receiving official plates has surged, rising from roughly 2,500 units last year to about 6,000 this year. The increase is linked to the growth of food‑delivery platforms, which require drivers to regularize their vehicles. Authorities have set up a dedicated service window and offer payment plans for the 1,700‑peso plating fee to accommodate delivery riders.
