Residents of Nueve de Julio in Argentina have renewed a request to municipal authorities and police for intensified night‑time operations against motorcycles with illegally modified exhausts. They say the loud noise disrupts the rest, health and quality of life of thousands, especially children, the elderly, autistic individuals, workers and students, and call for nocturnal controls using sound meters, vehicle seizure and strict enforcement of the local ordinance.

In the southern district of Jerez, Spain, neighbours similarly complain about persistent motorcycle noise late into the night, noting that illegal racing has ceased but the disturbance continues. They criticize the lack of fines and urge the city council to act, citing the impact on sleep and wellbeing. Both communities stress that existing measures are insufficient and demand stronger enforcement to restore quiet evenings.
