Motorcyclist dies after accident in Santa Marta, Colombia

Ramón José Quintero, a 46-year-old construction foreman originally from Zulia, Venezuela, has died following a motorcycle accident in Santa Marta, Colombia. The incident occurred on August 21 on the Troncal del Caribe in the Gaira sector.

According to family members, Quintero lost control of his motorcycle, allegedly due to a mechanical failure, resulting in severe injuries. He was treated at the Clínica Bahía and remained in intensive care for four days before passing away. Quintero, who resided in the Yucal neighborhood, is survived by three children. His family is currently arranging to transport his remains to Venezuela for burial.
