Multiple fatal traffic accidents reported across Latin America
A series of fatal traffic accidents has been reported across several countries in Latin America.
In the Dominican Republic, a collision on the Santo Domingo Circunvalación resulted in five deaths, including a pregnant police officer. In Barahona, an Army lieutenant died after his vehicle collided with a truck and was subsequently struck by another car.
In Argentina, several tragedies occurred, including three deaths in a collision between a taxi and a medical supply truck in Veracruz, and three young people killed when a pickup truck struck them while they were changing a tire in Santa Fe. Other incidents involved a pedestrian death in Cobos and a woman killed by a loose cow in Concepción, Paraguay.
In Venezuela, a 16-year-old died after a sedan fell 10 meters from the Los Mecedores bridge in Caracas, while a collision between a bus and a motorcycle left a young man injured in Falcón. In Nicaragua, a motorcyclist died after striking a dump truck in Telica.
Other reported incidents include a fatal motorcycle accident involving a goat in Spain, a woman killed by a detached trailer in Argentina's Mercado Central, and eleven injuries following a collision between a bus and a tanker in Colombia.
