Motorcyclist injured in head‑on collision with car on PR‑340 near Castro, Brazil
A 25‑year‑old rider on a Honda Pop 110 was moderately injured after a frontal collision with a car on the state highway PR‑340 near Castro, São Paulo, at around 06:45 on 17 June. The car, a 32‑year‑old driver’s Audi A3, was turning from PR‑151 onto PR‑340 when it struck the oncoming motorcycle. The motorcyclist received emergency care from the local Siate service and was taken to Castro’s emergency unit (UPA). The car driver was unharmed. After medical assistance and police investigation, both vehicles were released to their owners.
The incident was documented by the Polícia Militar Rodoviária, which noted no administrative penalties for the drivers.
