Fatal motorcycle crashes reported across Argentina, Colombia and Mexico

A series of serious road collisions involving motorcycles resulted in multiple deaths and injuries in several Latin American regions.

In Argentina's Santa Fe province, 16‑year‑old Irene Molina, who had survived an earlier crash on Ruta 14, died after a week in hospital. The July 19 accident also claimed the lives of Aurelio Martín Díaz and Maricel Betiana Retamoso.

In the city of Rawson, a 25‑year‑old motorcyclist, Emanuel Muñoz Morales, was hospitalized after a collision with a Peugeot 106 at the Conector Sur roundabout.

On Puebla’s Avenida 14 Sur, a head‑on collision between two motorcycles left an elderly rider dead and a second rider seriously injured; the incident occurred near the Loma Linda colonia.

Colombian teenager William Andrés Aponte died following a severe motorcycle crash on Los Maracos Avenue in Villavicencio after a suspected taxi involvement.

In Argentina’s Córdoba province, 57‑year‑old Ricardo Rodríguez died six days after being struck and abandoned by a Fiat Qubo on the Circunvalación.

Other incidents included the death of 19‑year‑old Emilce Daiana Díaz in a vehicle rollover on Ruta 20 in Caucete, and a fatal crash involving a motorcyclist in Desamparados, Costa Rica, after being ejected from the bike.

Authorities in each location have opened investigations to determine causes and any potential traffic violations.
