Motorcyclist seriously injured in Jombang truck collision

A 21-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a collision between a Honda Beat motorcycle and a Mitsubishi Fuso dump truck in Kwaron Village, Diwek District, Jombang. The accident occurred around 11:30 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Witnesses reported that the motorcyclist, identified as FB, was traveling from north to south when he allegedly lost concentration and struck the truck, which was traveling in the opposite direction. The victim was transported to the Jombang Regional General Hospital (RSUD) for medical treatment. The truck driver, a 55-year-old man identified as MR, was not injured. Local police are currently investigating the exact cause of the incident.
