Motorcyclists cited for reckless driving after highway crash in Boise

A motorcyclist performing stunts on a busy freeway in Boise, Idaho, crashed after losing control during a wheelie on September 9. The incident occurred on Interstate 84, where a group of riders was weaving through traffic and performing maneuvers in the middle of moving vehicles.

The Idaho State Police released video footage of the event, which shows two riders taking turns popping wheelies while surrounded by cars. One rider was thrown onto the asphalt amidst oncoming traffic. Despite the severity of the crash, medical personnel cleared the rider at the scene, and no serious injuries were reported.

Authorities cited both motorcyclists for reckless driving. The Idaho State Police shared the footage as a warning to the public, stating, “Reckless driving puts everyone on the road at risk.”
