MotorLand Aragón hosts 2026 MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix

The 2026 MotoGP championship enters a critical phase with the Aragon Grand Prix at MotorLand Aragón from August 28-30. The event marks a significant battleground for title contenders, particularly as Aprilia riders have shown strong dominance in recent rounds, while Ducati seeks to reclaim its competitive edge.

Jorge Martín enters the weekend as the championship leader, aiming to maintain his advantage. Marc Márquez, a specialist at this circuit with seven premier class victories, remains a major threat despite trailing by 40 points. Márquez has expressed a need to manage his physical condition following previous struggles with his shoulder.

Other riders face significant physical challenges. Marco Bezzecchi is managing a persistent knee injury that may force a defensive riding style, while Álex Márquez continues to deal with shoulder inflammation. Additionally, Johann Zarco is set for a highly anticipated return to racing after a lengthy injury layoff. The race weekend will feature both a Sprint race on Saturday and the main Grand Prix on Sunday.
