Motorola and Marshall announce new audio technology and pricing updates

Motorola has introduced the Moto Buds 2 and Moto Buds 2 plus, a new family of wireless earbuds featuring active noise cancellation (ANC), spatial audio, and LHDC support. The Moto Buds 2 plus model includes 11 mm drivers, Knowles balanced armatures, and Sound by Bose tuning, alongside CrystalTalk AI for enhanced voice clarity. While the plus model offers 9 hours of playback (40 total with the case), the standard Moto Buds 2 provides longer battery life with up to 11 hours per charge (48 total) and faster quick-charging capabilities.

Both models feature dynamic ANC, six microphones, and transparency modes. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 6.0, dual connection for two devices, and a dedicated gaming mode. The plus version specifically adds Audio Share and wear detection functionality.

Separately, Marshall's Motif II ANC wireless earbuds are seeing a price reduction on Amazon, dropping from 199 to 143 euros. These compact earbuds feature active noise cancellation, a transparency mode, and up to 30 hours of total playback with ANC enabled. The device supports wireless charging and quick charging, providing one hour of playback from 15 minutes of charging.
