Motorola confirms Android 17 update for over 50 smartphone models

Motorola has officially announced that more than 50 of its smartphone models will receive the Android 17 operating system update. The rollout has already commenced, with the Motorola Edge 2025 being among the first devices to receive the stable version.

The update covers a broad range of devices across the company’s primary product families, including the Signature, Razr, Edge, and Moto G series. High-end and recent flagship models, such as the Razr 70 series and various Edge models, are expected to receive the update with priority. The Moto G series, including models like the G Stylus 2026 and G Power 2026, are also included in the eligibility list.

Deployment will be gradual and may vary based on the specific model, region, and carrier. The update is expected to introduce improvements in multitasking, security, privacy, and artificial intelligence tools. While the rollout is underway, some users, such as those with the Motorola Signature in India, have already begun receiving the large 5.75 GB update package.
