Motorola Edge 2026 Leak Shows Flat Display and Gold Finish Redesign

New leaks suggest Motorola’s upcoming Edge 2026 will abandon the curved screens that defined earlier Edge models in favor of a flat front panel with minimal bezels. The design includes a slimmer aluminum or metal‑style frame, a central punch‑hole selfie camera, and a large square camera module on the upper‑left corner.

Renderings also reveal a champagne‑gold textured back, described as a warm, silk‑brushed finish that continues Motorola’s recent partnership with Pantone and occasional Swarovski‑accented editions. The back panel features a fine woven texture, while the front display adopts a flat design that improves durability, reduces accidental touches and eases screen‑protector use.

The shift aligns with a broader industry move toward flat flagship displays, as seen in recent Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel models, and could help Motorola position the Edge 2026 as a more premium Android competitor against Samsung and Google. If the leaked design proves accurate, the device may signal a strategic redesign to attract buyers who previously overlooked the Edge lineup.
