Motorola Edge 70 Max launches in India with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 7,100 mAh battery and magnetic wireless charging

Motorola confirmed that the Edge 70 Max will be released on 15 July 2026 exclusively on India’s Flipkart platform. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, paired with up to 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256–512 GB UFS 4.1 storage.

Key hardware highlights include a 6.82‑inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display that supports an adaptive 144 Hz refresh rate, peaks at 7,000 nits brightness, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. A 7,100 mAh silicon‑carbon battery offers up to two days of use; fast wired charging is rated at 90 W, while the device introduces native 25 W magnetic Qi2 wireless charging – the first in its segment. Cooling is handled by a 5,500 mm² vapor‑chamber system called ArcticMesh.

The camera module houses a 50 MP Sony LYTIA primary sensor with OIS, accompanied by ultra‑wide and telephoto lenses, and a 32 MP front sensor. Motorola revealed three colour options – Onyx Black, Sage Green and Glacier Blue – and expects pricing in the range of 50,000‑60,000 INR (≈ USD 520‑630). Several hands‑on videos and leaks shared the flat‑edge design, magnetic charging, and MIL‑STD‑810H durability before the official launch.
