Motorola expands Edge 70 series with Max and Neo models

Motorola is expanding its Edge 70 series with new devices targeting the high-performance and mid-range smartphone segments.

The Motorola Edge 70 Max is designed for heavy-duty users, featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and a 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 7000 nits. To support its performance, the device includes a 7100 mAh battery, 90W TurboPower wired charging, and 25W wireless charging. The phone utilizes a flat frame design and a matte finish.

Additionally, leaks regarding the Motorola Edge 70 Neo suggest the inclusion of a 200MP camera. There is ongoing speculation as to whether this device will utilize a new sensor or a repurposed Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensor previously used in the more affordable Moto G87. The Neo is also expected to feature a flatter display compared to its predecessor.
