Motorola launches Edge 70 Max in India with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and 7,100 mAh battery

Motorola has introduced the Edge 70 Max flagship smartphone in India, priced from Rs 54,999. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset built on a 3 nm process, paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It features a 6.8‑inch Quad HD+ (2K) LTPO AMOLED display with a 144 Hz adaptive refresh rate, 360 Hz touch sampling, up to 7,000 nits peak brightness and Pantone‑validated colour accuracy.

The phone houses a 7,100 mAh silicon‑carbon battery, supporting 90 W wired TurboPower charging (50 % in about 21 minutes) and 25 W Qi 2.2 magnetic wireless charging. An ArcticMesh cooling system combines a large vapor chamber with liquid‑metal and thermal‑paste layers to keep CPU temperatures low during intensive gaming. Camera hardware includes a 50 MP Sony primary sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultra‑wide lens, and a 32 MP front‑facing shooter.
