Motorola launches Edge 70 Pro+ smartphone in India with up to 5,250 rupee discount

Motorola began selling the Edge 70 Pro+ in India on June 11 at 12 PM IST via Flipkart and the company's own website. The handset is priced at ₹47,999, with an effective price of ₹44,999 after a ₹3,000 discount for ICICI or SBI credit‑card users, and up to a ₹5,250 discount for certain bank‑card promotions.

The device features a 6.8‑inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, 12 GB RAM, 256 GB UFS 4.1 storage, and runs Android 16‑based Hello UI. Its camera system includes three 50 MP sensors – a primary Sony LYTIA 710 sensor, a 50 MP ultra‑wide lens and a 50 MP 3.5× periscope telephoto lens – plus a 50 MP selfie camera. Power comes from a 6,500 mAh battery supporting 90 W wired fast charging and 15 W wireless charging, with IP68/IP69 dust‑water resistance and MIL‑STD‑810H durability. The phone ships in Pantone‑inspired colours and is marketed as a flagship‑grade option under the ₹50,000 price segment for Indian consumers.
