Motorola launches Moto G Max in Brazil
Motorola introduced the Moto G Max to the Brazilian market, pricing the 6.8‑inch smartphone at BRL 2,519 (about $490). The device is effectively a rebranded Moto G87 and carries Android 16, a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB storage and virtual RAM up to 16 GB.
Key hardware includes a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, a 200 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, an 8 MP ultra‑wide lens and a 32 MP front sensor. Power comes from a 5,200 mAh battery supporting 33 W fast charging. The handset is rated IP66, IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance and meets MIL‑STD‑810H military‑grade durability standards. Motorola may use the Moto G Max name only in Brazil while marketing the same device as the Moto G87 elsewhere.
