Motorola launches Moto Pad 70 5G tablet in India

Motorola has launched the Moto Pad 70 in India, completing its three-tablet Pad 70 series. The device is positioned as a mid-range Android tablet targeting students and media consumers, distinguished from its Pro and Groove siblings by its 5G connectivity.

The tablet features a 12.1-inch IPS LCD with 2.5K resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor and includes 8GB of RAM with storage options of 128GB or 256GB, expandable via microSD up to 2TB. The device is equipped with a 10,200 mAh battery supporting 45W charging and a quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos.

Motorola is bundling the Moto Pen stylus with the tablet at no extra cost. The Moto Pad 70 runs on Android 16, with the company promising updates up to Android 18 and security support through 2030. Sales are scheduled to begin on August 15 through Flipkart, Motorola’s Indian website, and various retail stores. In India, the 128GB model is priced at Rs 33,999, while the 256GB variant is priced at Rs 36,999.
