Motorola launches Moto Pad 70 Groove tablet in India
Motorola announced the Moto Pad 70 Groove tablet for the Indian market, with sales starting on 7 August 2026 through Flipkart, Motorola’s own website and select retail stores. The launch price is ₹36,999, but a ₹3,000 bank discount brings the effective price to ₹33,999.
The device sports a 12.1‑inch LCD panel with a 2.5K (2560 × 1600) resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 800 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, HDR10 and a 98 % DCI‑P3 colour gamut. Under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage, expandable to 2 TB via microSD. A 10,200 mAh battery supports 45 W TurboPower fast charging and is claimed to deliver up to 15 hours of YouTube playback.
Audio is the headline feature: a nine‑speaker JBL Pro system (four tweeters, three woofers and two passive radiators) delivers Dolby Atmos sound and can operate as a Bluetooth speaker. The tablet also includes a 360° metal kickstand with four viewing modes, IP52 dust‑water protection, dual microphones, a 13 MP rear camera, an 8 MP front camera, Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB‑C and runs Android 16 with guaranteed OS upgrades to Android 18 and four years of security updates. AI tools such as Google Gemini, Live Transcript and AI writing utilities are built in.
