Motorola launches Razr 70 and Razr 70 Ultra foldable smartphones

Motorola expanded its premium foldable lineup with the Razr 70 and Razr 70 Ultra, both unveiled globally on 29 April 2026. The phones are slated for an Indian launch in July 2026, priced at roughly Rs 59,999 for the Razr 70 and Rs 99,999 for the Ultra.

The Razr 70 features a 6.96‑inch LTPO pOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7450X processor, 8 GB RAM, 4,800 mAh battery and a dual 50 MP rear camera setup. The Razr 70 Ultra offers a larger 7.0‑inch LTPO pOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 16 GB RAM, 5,000 mAh battery, dual 50 MP rear cameras with 8K video, a 50 MP selfie sensor, eSIM support and NFC. Both run Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI and receive three years of OS updates and four years of security patches.

A comparative review notes the Ultra’s higher refresh‑rate (165 Hz vs 120 Hz), brighter display, stronger chipset and advanced camera features, while the standard Razr 70 provides a more balanced specification set at a lower price point.
