Motorola launches Razr Fold and Razr 70 Ultra foldable smartphones

Motorola introduced a new line of foldable devices. The Razr Fold is the company's first book‑style foldable, featuring a 6.6‑inch external display that opens to an 8.1‑inch 2K LTPO inner screen. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, is equipped with a 6000 mAh silicon‑carbon battery and 80 W TurboPower charging, and carries a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50 MP ultra‑wide macro sensor that earned a DXOMARK Gold label. The device supports the Moto Pen Ultra for note‑taking and sketching.

Alongside the Fold, Motorola released the Razr 70 Ultra, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform. It retains a 4.0‑inch external display, offers a brighter 6.96‑inch inner screen, and upgrades to a 5000 mAh battery with fast charging. The camera system is a triple 50 MP setup with a new LOFIC sensor for wider dynamic range. The phone is offered in limited Pantone‑coordinated colourways such as Cocoa wood veneer and Orient Blue Alcantara, and includes a Swarovski‑crystal‑adorned signature edition. Pricing is £1,199 (approximately $1,499) with free Moto Buds Loop in the UK and US markets, and the devices are now available directly from Motorola.
