Motorola unveils Signature 27 flagship smartphone
At the Snapdragon Summit, Motorola unveiled the Signature 27, its most advanced flagship smartphone to date. The device is among the first to utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, which is designed to enhance on-device artificial intelligence, gaming performance, and connectivity.
Key hardware features include a 50 MP Sony LYTIA 910 main sensor and a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens. To manage heat, the phone employs an ArcticMesh cooling system featuring diamond-infused thermal gel and a 3D vapor chamber that is 40% larger than previous models. The device integrates Google Gemini AI capabilities, including Gemini Omni for video and Lyria for music generation. Motorola has committed to seven years of operating system and security updates, with a global market rollout expected in 2026.
Separately, leaks regarding a new wide-format foldable device, potentially named the Razr Flex, suggest a 6.92-inch internal display with a 165 Hz refresh rate, a 5,000 mAh battery, and a 50 MP dual-camera system.
