Motorola to launch Signature 27 flagship smartphone on November 5
Motorola is set to officially launch its new premium flagship smartphone, the Signature 27, on November 5. The device is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, designed for high-performance gaming and AI tasks.
A major highlight of the device is its 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED Duo display, which utilizes Tandem OLED technology and reportedly supports a peak brightness of up to 12,000 nits. The phone is expected to offer up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The camera system includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. To manage heat during heavy use, Motorola is implementing the ArcticMesh cooling system, which features a vapor chamber 40% larger than previous models.
Running on Android 17, the Signature 27 will include a commitment to seven years of operating system and security updates. The device is expected to be available globally, with specific launch timelines for markets including India and Brazil.
