Motorola unveils Razr Fold 2026 with world‑first Gorilla Glass Ceramic

Motorola Mobility Japan announced the Motorola Razr Fold 2026, a flagship folding smartphone that opens horizontally. The device is scheduled for release on 4 August 2026 in Japan at a price of ¥299,800 (approximately US $800) and will be sold through the company’s MOTO STORE, major retailers and online platforms. Key specifications include Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 on the outer display – the first use of this glass in a phone – a 6,000 mAh battery with 80 W TurboPower charging, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, 12 GB RAM, 256 GB storage, and a triple‑camera system (50 MP main, 50 MP ultra‑wide, 32 MP interior selfie). The phone also supports IP48/49 water‑dust resistance and a new Moto Pen Ultra stylus, which ships simultaneously.

A US‑based review noted that the Razr Fold 2026 maintains the brand’s low‑price positioning in the folding‑phone market, undercutting premium competitors like Samsung and Google.
