Motorola unveils Signature flagship phone targeting premium market

Motorola, now owned by Lenovo, has introduced the Signature, a high‑end smartphone aimed at the luxury segment and positioned against premium devices from Samsung, Apple and Google. The phone features a 6.8‑inch AMOLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 6,200 nits, supporting Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Pantone‑validated colours. It is built from aerospace‑grade aluminium, measures just 6.99 mm thick, weighs 186 g and carries dual IP68/IP69 water‑resistance certifications plus MIL‑STD‑810H military‑grade durability.

Power is provided by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor fabricated on a 3‑nm process, paired with 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage and a triple‑camera system using 50‑megapixel Sony LYTIA sensors. Motorola promises seven years of Android OS and security updates. The device is launched in European markets, with a focus on Spain, and is marketed as a blend of refined design, robust construction and long‑term software support.
