Motorsport competitions advance in Paraná

Motorsport competitions are progressing in the state of Paraná. The Paraná State Drift Championship has reached the midpoint of its 2026 season following the third stage held at the Ayrton Senna Autodrome in Londrina. Murilo Sobral won the Londrina stage driving a Subaru BRZ, earning 90 points. Matheus Sartor currently leads the overall championship standings with 237 points. The next stage is scheduled for Maringá from September 25 to 27, with subsequent rounds in Toledo and Matinhos.

Additionally, the 62nd Paraná State Kart Championship is set to take place at the Ayrton Senna Kartódromo in Pato Branco from September 10 to 12. The event, organized by the Kart Clube de Pato Branco under the supervision of the Federação Paranaense de Automobilismo, has seen high interest with over 140 registrations. The competition was rescheduled from its original dates in early September to ensure participants could secure hotel accommodations in the city.

The karting event features various categories ranging from the Mirim School for children to the F-4 Grand Super Sênior for drivers over 50 years old.
