Motorsport season opens in Poland and Latvia

The opening round of the OC1 International Motocross Championship will be held on 10 May in Piekoszów, a village near Kielce, marking the start of the Polish national motocross series. The event will feature the country’s top riders competing on a newly prepared track praised for its technical difficulty and scenic setting.

A day later, the European Rallycross Championship will launch in Riga, Latvia, with the series returning to its original format that combines all drivers in a single class and excludes electric cars. Polish driver Damian Litwinowicz will contest the top‑level RX1 Supercars class in an Audi S1, aiming for strong early results and a place in the final.
