Motorsport updates: Siena Go-Kart race and Ferrari's WEC preparations

In Siena, the “Go Kart - La corsa di Brio” event is returning to the Circuito di Siena in Castelnuovo Berardenga. This year’s program features a new emphasis on female participation with the introduction of two categories: “Donne del Palio” and “Donne di Contrada.” The event combines motorsport with music, utilizing a Formula 1-style soundtrack played on vinyl. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to LILT to support health initiatives and breast cancer prevention.

In Maranello, Ferrari is entering the “Build” and “Pre-Event” phases to prepare the 499P for the upcoming World Endurance Championship race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The preparation process involves intensive offline simulations and “Driver-in-the-loop” testing to ensure the vehicle meets the needs of three-driver crews. The racing teams include the championship-winning crew of Pier Guidi, Calado, and Giovinazzi, alongside teams led by Fuoco and Ye.
