Motörhead announces 40th anniversary edition of Orgasmatron
Motörhead is celebrating the 40th anniversary of their 1986 album ‘Orgasmatron’ with the release of the second single, ‘Built For Speed’. The track is part of a brand-new remix of the entire album by longtime collaborator Cameron Webb, created using the original multi-tracks.
The upcoming 40th Anniversary Edition is scheduled for release in November 2026 via BMG. The collection will be available in various formats, including a deluxe 3xLP bookpack, a 2xCD set, and a transparent violet vinyl 1xLP pressing.
In addition to the Cameron Webb remix and the remastered original mix, the anniversary release will feature studio rehearsals and outtakes recorded in 1985, as well as the band’s complete 1986 BBC Radio 1 Friday Rock Show session. The original album featured the lineup of Lemmy, Phil Campbell, Würzel, and Pete Gill.
