MOTTERU launches semi-solid state battery mobile power banks

MOTTERU Co., Ltd. has announced the release of three new mobile battery models featuring semi-solid state battery technology. Available starting October 16, the lineup includes capacities of 5,000mAh, 10,000mAh, and 20,000mAh.

These models are designed with enhanced safety in mind to address mobile battery fire risks, utilizing semi-solid state batteries which are considered safer than standard lithium-ion polymer batteries. The company conducted nail penetration tests to confirm the units do not smoke or ignite. The batteries feature a long lifespan, capable of approximately 2,000 charge cycles, which is roughly four times the previous generation.

The 5,000mAh model is highly portable, weighing approximately 106g, while the 20,000mAh model is intended for travel and business trips. The products include integrated USB-C cables and support simultaneous charging for two devices. All models are PSE compliant and suitable for airplane carry-on.
