Regional developments in housing, technology, and social inclusion

Various regional developments are underway across Latin America. In El Salvador, a public-private delegation is seeking financing from the Inter-American Development Bank to accelerate social housing construction and increase liquidity for developers.

In Argentina, Entre Ríos Governor Rogelio Frigerio announced a mortgage credit agreement between the IAPV and Banco Entre Ríos. The initiative provides subsidized interest rates for public sector workers to facilitate home ownership. Additionally, the province is hosting the ‘Somos Expo Inclusiva’ in Ushuaia to promote rights and inclusion for people with disabilities.

In the technology and education sectors, Mario Pergolini will lead discussions on artificial intelligence and communication in Misiones. Meanwhile, the University of Punta (ULP) in Mauritius is launching a data management course for educators to improve pedagogical decision-making through evidence-based practices. Support groups for families of people with disabilities are also continuing their work in Argentina to foster autonomy and rights.
