Mount Ararat summit reached by three Polish climbers
Three residents from the Kłodzko Land region in Poland, Zbigniew Wnęk, Kacper Kaszuba, and Krzysztof Kaszuba, successfully reached the summit of Mount Ararat in Turkey. The climbers reached the 5,137-meter peak at 5:30 AM on Saturday, September 5.
The expedition included a demanding trek to Süphan Dağı on September 1, which involved a 16-kilometer route with an elevation gain of over 1,600 meters and faced weather challenges including hail and snow. Following this, the group ascended toward Ararat, establishing camps at 3,400 meters and 4,130 meters before the final summit push.
