Mountain biking competitions announced in Olmedo and Villanueva de los Castillejos

Several mountain biking events have been announced in Spain. In Olmedo, the V Marcha BTT El Caballero de Olmedo is scheduled for October 18, 2026. This event is part of the Copa Diputación de Valladolid BTT and offers three different distances: a long route of approximately 78 kilometers, a medium route of 58 kilometers, and a shorter 43.5-kilometer option. Participation is limited to 300 cyclists.

In Villanueva de los Castillejos, the IX Media Maratón BTT Dehesa de Castillejos will take place on September 6. This event serves as the fourth round of the Circuito Diputación Huelva BTT Media Maratón 2026. The course has been modified to a 37.52-kilometer route through the Castillejos and El Almendro areas to improve accessibility. The competition is organized by the local City Council in collaboration with the Huelva Provincial Council and the Andalusian Cycling Federation, with participation capped at 300 people.
