Mountain biking events held in Castegnato and Basilicata

Various mountain biking events are taking place across Italy. In Castegnato, the Junior Bike Brescia circuit is scheduled for September 20 at Parco Gemelli. Organized by Free Bike Castegnato, the event targets young riders aged 7 to 12. The occasion also marks the 30th anniversary of the Free Bike Castegnato association, which is currently developing a new headquarters and a dedicated school field with municipal support.

In the Basilicata region, the Team Bike Montescaglioso 2019 recently held the first edition of the XC Difesa di San Biagio. As part of the Challenge XCO Puglia circuit, the event drew approximately 90 participants from Basilicata, Campania, and Puglia. The technical course was set within the archaeological area of Difesa di San Biagio, featuring forest trails and challenging descents.
