Mountain Brook hosts Ramsay in pivotal region football game

Mountain Brook (4-2) is set to host Ramsay (5-1) at Spartan Stadium this Friday night in a significant Class 5A, Region 4 matchup. The contest is considered a pivotal game for determining potential region titles, alongside Homewood.

Mountain Brook enters the game following a low-scoring 10-3 victory over Oxford, relying heavily on defense and field position. Ramsay arrives on a four-game winning streak after defeating Pinson Valley 34-26. While Mountain Brook won their last meeting in 2016, Ramsay has won two of the three previous matchups between the programs.
