Mountain Do trail running event to held in Campos do Jordão

The Mountain Do trail running event will take place in Campos do Jordão, São Paulo, on August 23. The competition features three different course distances: 5 km, 10 km, and 20 km, all traversing routes through the Atlantic Forest (Mata Atlântica).

Located in the Serra da Mantiqueira at an altitude of 1,628 meters, the event aims to combine sport with tourism in the region. The schedule begins on Saturday, August 22, with kit distribution and the Expo Mountain Do. The races are set to start at 8:00 AM on Sunday at Praça Pinho Bravo, followed by an awards ceremony at 11:00 AM.

Kiko Santos, the event's general director, noted that the location provides a unique experience by combining trail challenges with the natural beauty and biodiversity of the mountain range.
