Mountain Glen agricultural asset offered for sale in Darling Downs

Mountain Glen, a 273-hectare (673-acre) agricultural property in the Darling Downs region, is being offered for sale by John Hurley and family. Formerly operated as Oakey Bovine Breeding Services, the asset is located near Oakey, 25 minutes from Toowoomba, and 10 minutes from Wellcamp Airport.

The property consists of three freehold titles totaling 273 hectares, featuring a mix of cultivation, irrigation, and grazing land. It includes 162 hectares of quality cultivation suitable for grains, fodder, hay, or vegetables, and approximately 30 hectares developed under irrigation via a Zimmatic end-tow centre pivot. The land transitions from creek flats to elevated Coolibah basalt ridge grazing country.

Water resources include a nominal 160 megalitre water entitlement from the Main Range Volcanics supplied by an equipped bore, alongside two additional stock and domestic bores. The site also features six 22,500-litre poly tanks and heavy-duty steel cattle yards equipped with a Pro-Chute crush and loading ramp.
