Mountain View Voice launches 2026 Election Center

The Mountain View Voice has launched its 2026 Election Center to provide comprehensive coverage of upcoming local races and ballot measures. The center serves as a centralized resource for voters, offering information on City Council candidates, school district board trustees, and updates regarding the City Charter.

To increase accessibility during the election season, the Embarcadero Media Foundation, the nonprofit operating the Voice, has removed the website's paywall. This access is intended to remain free at least through November 6. To support this initiative, the foundation has launched the ‘Unlock Local News’ fundraising campaign to help make free access permanent.
