Mountain West Conference announces 2025-26 scholar-athlete honorees

The Mountain West Conference has announced its scholar-athlete honorees for the 2025-26 academic year. To qualify for the award, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Utah State University earned 205 scholar-athlete honors, placing second in the conference behind New Mexico, which recorded 227. Among Utah State athletes, 28 maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA. The university saw significant academic success in women's track and field, men's track and field, and gymnastics.

Colorado State University reported 158 student-athletes receiving scholar-athlete honors, an increase of nine from the previous year. Twenty athletes from Colorado State achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA, with notable academic performances in women's basketball, volleyball, swimming and diving, and track and field.
