Mountfield HK defeats Liberec 5-2 in hockey victory

Tomáš Vomáčka made a successful extraliga debut for Mountfield HK, helping the team secure a 5-2 victory against Liberec. Vomáčka, a homegrown player, stepped in as the starting goaltender due to the absence of Stanislav Škorvánek for personal reasons.

Assistant coach Petr Koukal praised the performance, noting that Vomáčka handled the pressure well, including a crucial penalty shot save in the third period. The win follows two previous losses for Mountfield HK against České Budějovice and Kometa, providing the team with much-needed points.
