Mouse Computer launches DAIV CX compact AI desktop

Mouse Computer has launched the DAIV CX, a compact desktop computer designed for creators to utilize local AI capabilities. The device is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, which integrates the CPU, GPU, and NPU.

To facilitate high-performance local AI tasks without relying on the cloud, the system features 128GB of unified memory, allowing the CPU and GPU to share memory regions efficiently. This setup is intended for handling sensitive data in fields such as image generation, video editing, 3DCG production, and software development.

The DAIV CX-A9A60 model starts at 949,800 yen. It includes a Western Digital WD_BLACK SN850X 2TB M.2 SSD, with expansion options up to 16TB. The compact vertical chassis measures approximately 78.5mm in width and weighs about 1.98kg. Connectivity options include USB4, DisplayPort, and HDMI, supporting up to four displays. The unit also features a fingerprint sensor on the power button for Windows Hello authentication and a dedicated button to switch between performance and silent modes.
