Mouser Electronics adds Omron automation parts and Microchip microcontrollers

Mouser Electronics, the authorized global distributor of electronic components, announced that it is now stocking a broad range of Omron Industrial Automation products. The catalogue includes more than 40,000 Omron parts such as the field‑mountable S8NRIP67 power supplies, E3AS‑HF time‑of‑flight laser sensors and E2B proximity sensors, all designed for harsh industrial environments and applications in smart agriculture, warehousing, manufacturing and infrastructure.

In a separate announcement, Mouser also began offering Microchip Technology’s PIC18F‑Q35 8‑bit microcontrollers. The devices combine built‑in security, low‑power performance and a configurable logic block that reduces the need for external components. They feature a rich peripheral set—including high‑resolution ADC/DAC, PWM modules and mixed‑voltage I/O—targeting industrial, automotive, IoT and security‑focused designs. An evaluation kit (EV55P36A) is available to help developers prototype with the new MCUs.
