Moussa Diaby rejoins Bayer Leverkusen from Al-Ittihad
French winger Moussa Diaby has rejoined Bayer Leverkusen from the Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad FC. The 27-year-old has signed a contract with the Bundesliga side that runs until the summer of 2031.
Media reports indicate that the transfer fee is approximately 30 million euros. Diaby, who will wear the number 19 shirt, is reportedly set to earn 6 million euros annually under the terms of his new five-year agreement.
This marks a return to Leverkusen for Diaby, who previously played for the club between 2019 and 2023, making 173 appearances and scoring 49 goals. He left the German side in 2023 for Aston Villa before a move to Al-Ittihad in the summer of 2024.
