Al Swehly signs Lameck Banda amid contract dispute with Lecce

Libyan club Al Swehly has officially unveiled Zambian international Lameck Banda on a three-year contract. The move follows a contractual dispute with the Italian Serie A side Lecce, who claim Banda is under contract until June 2027. While Lecce has referred the matter to FIFA, the governing body has granted Banda a temporary transfer to allow him to play for Al Swehly in the CAF Champions League.

In other football transfer news, Ajax striker Don-Angelo Konadu has joined Lommel SK on loan for the remainder of the season, with the Belgian club holding an option to buy. Additionally, Antwerp midfielder Jules Ahoka is set to join Sunderland in England for a fee exceeding €10 million.
