Moustache Bikes unveils redesigned Lundi 27 electric city bike

Moustache Bikes has unveiled the Lundi 27, a redesigned urban electric bike that features a significant shift in motor technology. The new model replaces the traditional mid-drive motor with the Bosch Hub Line motor located in the rear wheel. This change, combined with a new 2.1 kg battery, has made the bike 3.5 kg lighter than its predecessor.

The Lundi 27 is designed to improve maneuverability and aesthetics for city commuters. The Bosch Hub Line system provides 45 Nm of torque, which the manufacturer claims offers a riding sensation comparable to 60 or 65 Nm from a mid-drive motor due to its Sensor Fusion technology. The bike offers customization options, including a Gates Carbon Belt ST drive system or a Shimano Cues 9-speed chain system.

In an effort to increase accessibility, Moustache has lowered the entry price to €2,399, keeping the entire 2026 introductory range below the €3,000 threshold. Additionally, the company is releasing a limited collector’s edition of 270 units globally, priced at €2,899.
