Mouvement libéral vaudois unveils tax reform platform
Valérie Dittli’s newly formed political party, the Mouvement libéral vaudois, has officially unveiled its policy platform ahead of the upcoming cantonal elections in Vaud. The right-leaning movement is centering its campaign on tax reform, reductions in government spending, and increased support for the agricultural sector.
The party aims to position the canton of Vaud among the twelve most fiscally attractive cantons in Switzerland. Formed following Dittli’s resignation from Le Centre Vaud, the movement seeks to maintain a centre-right majority on the Conseil d’État. Leadership indicated that the party intends to field candidates in every district of the canton, with the goal of securing at least five elected deputies to form an official parliamentary group in the Grand Conseil.
