Move Brasil program becomes permanent with R$ 30 billion in financing

The Move Brasil program has been established as a permanent initiative, with up to R$ 30 billion allocated for vehicle financing. The program targets workers who use vehicles as their primary professional tool, including taxi drivers, ride-hailing drivers, delivery workers, and school transport providers. Financing options cover cars, motorcycles, and electric bicycles, with limits for ride-hailing drivers reaching up to R$ 200,000 and repayment terms of up to 84 months.

In a related development, the ride-hailing platform 99 has partnered with Riba to offer 500 electric motorcycles to eligible Move Brasil participants. Through the Sustainable Mobility Alliance, the partnership provides a 10% discount on Ribinha RWB models. The electric motorcycles are classified as self-propelled vehicles, meaning they do not require a driver's license or registration. The initiative is part of a broader goal to introduce 600,000 electric vehicles to Brazilian streets by 2035.
