Moveez Inc. selected for ISICO growth strategy fund

Moveez Inc., a Kanazawa University-born startup specializing in autonomous driving, has been selected for the FY2026 ‘Growth Strategy Fund’ provided by the Ishikawa Industrial Creation Support Organization (ISICO). The funding aims to support research and development in DX (Digital Transformation) products and services.

The project focuses on overcoming two major barriers to the widespread implementation of robot taxis: sensor performance degradation during bad weather and the high cost of mapping. Moveez intends to develop vehicle-mounted sensors that are resistant to rain and snow, as well as advanced technology to efficiently create 2D maps. Unlike traditional 3D mapping, Moveez’s simplified 2D approach aims to reduce the time and cost required to deploy autonomous services in new regions, particularly in snowy or rural areas facing driver shortages.
