Movianto opens large pharmaceutical logistics hub in Germany

Movianto, a subsidiary of Yusen Logistics, has opened a new pharmaceutical logistics hub in Wiesloch, Germany. The facility spans approximately 30,000 square meters of warehouse space and 1,500 square meters of office space.

The hub significantly expands temperature-controlled storage capacity, including 10,000 pallet positions for products requiring temperatures between 2°C and 8°C, and 32,000 positions for products between 15°C and 25°C. The site also features deep-freeze storage at -20°C and -26°C, with plans for future ultra-low-temperature capabilities down to -80°C to support vaccines and biologics.

Located at VGP Park Wiesloch-Walldorf, the facility integrates with Eurotranspharma’s distribution network, providing specialized last-mile services across nine European countries. The hub officially opened in September and is expected to be fully operational by November 2026.
