Movie Night wins Grade 2 Raven Run Stakes at Keeneland

Movie Night, a three-year-old filly bred by WinStar Farm, secured her first graded stakes victory in the $400,000 Grade 2 Raven Run Stakes at Keeneland. Ridden by Flavien Prat and trained by Will Walden, the daughter of Speightstown overcame a strong early pace set by Mythical to win by two lengths.

Competing in a seven-furlong dirt sprint, Movie Night tracked the leaders from the outside before launching a four-wide move around the turn. She overtook Mythical in the final furlong, finishing with a time of 1:23.28 on a fast track. The win brings her career earnings to $425,965 across six starts.

Trainer Will Walden noted that the horse benefited from a clean break and a relaxed position in the middle of the track. Jockey Flavien Prat described her performance as professional, noting she settled well despite her tendency to get into gear easily.
